Get ready for an exciting basketball season as the America East Conference partners with The Field of 68 for a thrilling day of basketball coverage!
The Battle for Basketball Supremacy in the Northeast
On October 20th, 2025, the America East Conference will showcase its annual men's and women's basketball Media Day, offering an insightful glimpse into the upcoming season. But here's where it gets controversial... or at least, where opinions might diverge.
The men's basketball media day will be hosted by Jeff Goodman and Rob Dauster, renowned national college basketball writers and founders of The Field of 68. These experts will break down the conference's preseason poll and all-conference team, providing an in-depth analysis that will surely spark debates among fans. They'll also chat with all nine men's basketball head coaches, offering a unique perspective on each team's strategies and ambitions.
For the women's basketball media day, Brendan Glasheen and Maureen Magarity will take the reins. Glasheen, a former America East broadcaster and the current voice of the Connecticut Sun, brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Magarity, a former Coach of the Year in both the America East and the Patriot League, has led Holy Cross to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2023 and 2024. Together, they'll release the preseason poll and all-conference teams, followed by insightful conversations with each of the league's nine head coaches.
